B2B Fulfilment UK

B2B & Retail Fulfilment

Supplying a retailer is a compliance exercise as much as a logistics one. We pick to case and pallet, label to the buyer’s manual, raise the ASN and hit the booked delivery window — so the chargebacks stop.

What We Offer

Fulfilment That Reads the Buyer’s Compliance Manual

Retail chargebacks are rarely about late stock. They are about the wrong label, a missing ASN or a delivery outside the window.

Case, Layer & Pallet Picking

Orders picked at whatever level the buyer wants — eaches for small wholesale, cases for independents, full layers and pallets for the multiples.

  • Mixed-SKU pallet building
  • Layer picking & case picking
  • Pallets wrapped and labelled

Retailer Compliance

SSCC labels, barcodes and pallet paperwork produced to the specific buyer’s manual — not a generic label that gets rejected at the gate.

  • SSCC & retailer-spec labelling
  • ASN / despatch advice raised
  • EDI and CSV messaging

Booking & Delivery Windows

We book through the retailer’s portal and route the vehicle to arrive inside the slot, because a missed window is a charge whatever else went right.

  • Booking portals handled
  • Windowed delivery routing
  • POD returned per drop
Why WSUK

Getting Into a Retailer Is Easier Than Staying In

The first order is a sales achievement. The next twelve are an operational one — and suppliers usually lose margin to compliance failures rather than to price.

  • Chargebacks Designed Out Labels, ASNs and booking handled to the buyer’s spec as standard, which removes the three most common deduction reasons.
  • Any Pick Level Eaches, cases, layers or full pallets from the same stock — so one supplier can serve independents and multiples at once.
  • D2C and B2B Together The same inventory can serve your own website and your trade customers, without splitting stock or duplicating storage.
  • Delivery Windows Hit Booked slots routed properly, with POD returned per drop so you can evidence compliance when a deduction is raised.
  • Scales With the Listing Winning a national account does not mean changing warehouse — volume is absorbed on the same rate card.
  • Transparent Line Items Pallet build, wrap, labels and delivery all priced separately, so you can see exactly what serving a given account costs.

The Process

How B2B Fulfilment Works

From purchase order to a compliant delivery inside the window.

1

The Order Arrives

Purchase orders come in by EDI, CSV or portal. We check them against available stock and flag shortfalls before picking starts, not after.

2

Picked and Made Compliant

Picked to the required level, built and wrapped, labelled to the buyer’s manual, and the ASN raised against the despatch.

3

Booked and Delivered

We book the slot through the retailer’s portal, route the vehicle to arrive inside it, and return the POD against the order.

Transparent Pricing

B2B Fulfilment Pricing

B2B Suppliers Across the Golden Triangle

Most UK retail RDCs sit within a few hours of the M1 / M6 corridor, which is why this belt is where suppliers to the multiples base their stock.

What Is B2B Fulfilment?

B2B fulfilment is order fulfilment where the customer is another business — a retailer, a wholesaler, a distributor — rather than a consumer. The volumes per order are larger and the addresses are fewer, which makes it sound easier than D2C. It is not, because the buyer sets the rules. A national retailer will hand you a compliance manual specifying how cases are labelled, what an SSCC pallet label must carry, which electronic messages must be sent and when, which portal the delivery must be booked through, and how wide the arrival window is. Miss any of it and the deduction lands regardless of whether the stock was correct and on time. That is where suppliers quietly lose their margin: not on the price they negotiated, but on chargebacks they never planned for. WSUK runs B2B fulfilment as a compliance operation — picking at whatever level the buyer wants, labelling to their manual, raising the ASN, booking the slot and evidencing the delivery — from the same stock that can also serve your own website.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about b2b fulfilment at WSUK.

What does your B2B fulfilment service include?

Order intake by EDI, CSV or portal, picking at each, case, layer or pallet level, pallet build and wrap, labelling to the retailer’s compliance manual including SSCC, ASN and despatch advice messaging, delivery slot booking through the buyer’s portal, and POD returned against the order.

Can you supply the major supermarkets and multiples?

Yes. The practical requirement is their compliance manual — give us that and we build the labelling, messaging and booking process around it. Most deductions come from label format, missing ASNs or missed windows, and all three are process problems we can design out.

Do you handle EDI?

Yes — standard EDI messaging plus CSV and portal-based ordering. Integration is from £150 per week, which covers your channels rather than being charged per trading partner.

Can we run B2B and D2C from the same stock?

Yes, and most of our clients do. One pool serves both, so you are not holding duplicate inventory or deciding in advance how much to allocate to trade versus your own website.

What does B2B fulfilment cost?

Picks from £1.00 plus £0.35 order processing for each and case picking. Pallets built, wrapped and labelled from £12.50 with £3.50 wrap and band. Storage from £4.50 per pallet per week. Booked deliveries are quoted per drop against the destination and window.

Do you build mixed-SKU pallets?

Yes — mixed-SKU and mixed-case pallets built to the buyer’s stacking and height requirements, wrapped and labelled, which is normally what independents and smaller multiples order.

Who books the delivery slot?

We do, through the retailer’s own booking portal, and we route the vehicle to arrive inside the window. POD comes back against the order so you can evidence compliance if a deduction is ever raised.

How quickly can you take on a new retail account?

Typically 7–10 working days from receiving the compliance manual, which covers label setup, messaging configuration and a test despatch before the first live order.

Do you handle export orders to trade customers?

Yes — export packing and documentation are available, and for full loads and containers our freight forwarding service handles the movement end to end.

Is stock insured while it is with you?

Yes — Goods-in-Trust cover in a CCTV-monitored, alarmed warehouse, with CMR / RHA conditions applying in transit.
